Reinstatement of the Juvenile committee We have a vibrant juvenile club and we are always looking for new players. To any parents of children

interested in getting involved in hurling or football, it’s never too late. This is the first issue of the

fortnightly newsletter in which we will provide news and information of Portarlington Juvenile GAA .

U6 Football: Coaching continues every Sunday morning at 10am for boys and girls, new members are always welcome.

U8 Football Training Sunday 10am and every

Wednesday evening at 18:30 for boys and girls.

First games last Friday 28th McCann Park Vs The

Heath and Portlaoise @ 6pm was a great success.

U16 Football: Our U16 drew with Sarsfields on Wed 3rd May – this may not be enough to make it to the league semi-

finals but it was a great effort in a tense game. Next match V St Paul’s on 11th May.

Minor Football: Congratulations to our minor football team who have reached the league semi-final to be played next

Monday 8th May (venue TBC). All support is welcome.

A Fun league has been organized by St. Patricks Boys National School for 1st &2nd class children. Every Wednesday at

15:30 in McCann Park. The first session took place Wed 3rd

May with over 50 children attending. This is a great opportunity

to get some exercise and also a chance for those who don’t regularly train with the club to join in the fun. All help is
