Client wanted a branding solution for a series of videos that would highlight musical contributions of older musicians to comptemporary artists. This was just one of the options that was offered.

Drawing off the fact that the client wanted something to signify the foundation of the music, I used the tree imagery to represent the roots of the music. The client ultimately chose this solution.

Using the imagery from a standard DJ turntable manufacturer, I created this logo. The focus of the logo is to represent the radio station’s commitment to educating listeners to merging of the hip-hop culture and its jazz roots.

Using the literal visual for the word ‘lesson’, I created this logo to represent the radio station’s commitment to educating listeners to merging of the hip-hop culture and its jazz roots. The client ultimately chose this solution.

t In life, there are people that talk about what they want to do. Conversely, there are people that do what they want to do. I’ve been talking for a long time. Too many words. No action.

The theme of this poster is from a saying that my father used to say all the time. There is a certain way you say it and a certain faith that you have to have in order for it to work. I’m not sure how or why my father started saying this. But I surely adopted it and I haven used it to refoucus myself when times get heavy. Not only does it make me place things into perspective, but it helps me feel closer to him since he’s not here.
