01Icefield
Icefield mediates the influence of large-scale shipping and transportation infrastructure with the dynamism of Northern culture in Iqaluit, Nunavut. A proposed Harbour District is defined by distinct city rooms which unite cultural functions with the landscape surrounding the city centre. The architecture and landscape of Icefield is informed by the surrounding topography of the glacial valley and the peaks of local architecture, while principles of adaptability and temporality are reflected in an open air sculpture park, community centre, and data installation.

02Hinterland/Hydroland
Historically the land behind a coast or the shoreline of a river, the concept of hinterland is informed by the geography of the river area, as well as the cultural elements surrounding it. Hinterland/Hydroland focuses on the fluidity of the Speed and Eramosa Rivers in Guelph, ON as a binding element for energy, recreation, and environmental processes at the interface of water and land. The project aims to blur the boundary of the water’s edge, exploring multiple perspectives of interaction with the riverside by introducing an immersive path culminating in a riparian ecosystem and observation plane.

03A Garbage Path
Selected as a short-listed submission for the Green Line Ideas Competition, A Garbage Path proposes a two dimensional takeover in a three dimensional space. Recreation space is not enough for a city, nor for a contemporary urban park. Once the space has been united, a democratic split amongst Toronto’s population is proposed - one person, one vote, one piece of space. Built with 2 615 060 individual pieces, equal representation invites the entire city to program the space. Toronto has an abundance of material to create this space. Using garbage as a medium we can create a cultural mosaic by rallying around something that the city believes in: re-use.

04All the Parties You’ve Never Been Invited To...
All The Parties You’ve Never Been Invited To... is a video installation integrating footage from 150 historical and cinematic parties to explore human experience at the emotional polarities of hope and despair. The installation framed the dance floor of the finale to Toronto’s 10th annual Come Up To My Room festival with two projections. The first projection, The Grid, simultaneously presented 150 looping clips in an organic grid. The second projection, The Gaze, presented close-ups of secondary characters taken from the same batch of 150 clips, gazing over the party.
