Short Storybook ‘Nature’s Way’Original text, design and illustration in English. I designed this book on ‘growing up’ as a student of the Storybook Lab at Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology, Bangalore. The aim of this book was to re-evaluate stereotypical notions of creating books for Indian children, that make reading enjoyable and meaningful and inexpensive.

Concept Posters Graphic posters driven by a theme. My aim was to correctly portray the feeling I associate with the topic. All of these were made as part of different self-initiated projects.

Human figure drawings made on paper during sketching classes of 1st and 2nd year of college. A series of print ads and a new logo for Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology. The logo is inspired by the colleges effort to serve as a guiding beacon for self-thinking individuals. The freedom that the students enjoy while being part of the college is represented through a butterfly formed by the light-rays of the beacon.

This was my graduation project for college. I travelled to Costa Rica to work with the Director of Marketing of a uniquely self-sustaining farm/eco-resort called Rancho Margot. I learned their operations in one month’s time. After coming back to India, I applied my new learnings to create an interactive wep-page and a production video.

I tried to present the magnitude to which the crowd at the Waankhade Stadium in Mumbai re-acts during a Sachin Tendulkar’s batting performance. By taking the measurement of the value of the noise levels in different parts of Mumbai and by comparing it to the noise made by the crowd, I have come to an estimation of how much Mumbai hears while Sachin bats.

A project with C-Step, a non-profit organisation non-profit organization that undertakes re-search on economic development and human growth. As part of this project, I had to study a place in the north of Bangalore that has undergone changes during the last 10 years due to arrival of the airport and various other factors. I studied a small village called Puttenahalli.

This was part of a character design course. The final outcome was mask made using paper mache. The character I worked on was called ‘Young Churchill’. Young Churchill is a ‘hobbo’ - a person without a permanent home or livelihoood.

This project involved ideation, research, exploration and prototyping of a marketing campaign for Sehatmand Tea, a product of unilever. Apart from ideation and research, I was designated to create Visual Communication collaterals for the campaign and work out the illustrations and explainer diagrams ahead of our client meetings.
