It is a creation of clearly distinguished boundary of two Prague quarters - Vinohrady and Zizkov. The border is formed by a ‘riverbank’ above the Main Railway Station forming an added value of the site – the riverbed. It is an attractive place for a new city development arising on the riverbank. A linear element of the stairway as a street furniture integrates the riverbank with a view over the abyss of the railway.

The year project is based in design as a research process. We worked experimentally and in teams, with a common ground, data base, and a common scenario as a point of departure for the propositions.

The aim is to design urban strategies for specific area by the water edge of Göteborg.

Design resolutions in various scales for hybrid, cross programme, multipurpose spaces, networks, infrastructure, landscapes and buildings.

Design is based on investigations of models and researches.

The Children’s house is taking place on the triangular site close to the Kapellplatsen in Göteborg. The site is quite problematic. It has very narrow shape, there is the busy road and block of flats just next to the site. Our building is divided into four elevated and mutually displaced cubes. This solution should provide suitable conditions for all of the various activities. The cubes are occupied by different activities and spaces in between makes buffer and common zone.

The main task was to find building, which wouldn´t disturb rural charakter of a village. The best solution was a farm specialized in bioproducts, because of an agricultural tradition in the polabská country. On the site of former JZD a new farm-house is designed. The idea for the design came from a traditional conception of farm. All main activities take place in the farmyard. The house of owner is a dominant of yard. It looks like a fortress from a sight of a passer-by. The farm is oriented on breeding sheep and fruit tree farming. There are lots of facilities : a market place, a cider house, a manufactory of jam and a shop.

The wooden cube is built on thin steel columns siting on a stone mound growing from the ground. A glassed entrance floor evokes an effect that the house levitates and looks around to surroundings. A luxury site determines a character of the house. A block of flats with three flats was designed. Each flat takes one floor and has about 250 m². There is a swimming pool in the entrance floor. The whole ground floor facade is made of glass and swimmers have a beatiful view out to the grown trees.

iiiiiiiiiA site is located in village Levý Hradec near from Prague. The house is situated on a steep slope looking on the river Vltava. The main idea for this building was a vizualization of water running down the slope : three big drops, where each of them forms one level of the building. The drops are built from a concreate skeleton hacked to the slope. Windows are situated only on the west and the east side. Each level is moved to the side to create terraces on the roofs.

The shelter is situated on the roud which leads from village Kvilda to the source of the river Vltava. The hut is made of wood and its design is based on minimum dimension. It serves for occasional sleeping of tourists and keepers of the Šumava National Park. A toilet and a covered siting area are part of a design.
