  • REACHING FOR THE HIGHEST APPLES

    As a child, I always used to climb to the tree top reaching for the apples hanging highest to taste the apples Ive not yet tried. Although I dont crawl high trees anymore, the curiosity and will for reaching higher, and trying paths not yet explored, is still evident to me.

    Im constantly striving to improve the world in both big and small matters. Coming from an architectural and design background I have worked with many different types of projects. Therefore, the selected works presented in this portfolio varies in scales and extent.

    Jeg arbejder med at lave forskellige stationer, som placeres med forskellige afstande. Disse stationer vil alle have forbindelse til nabostationerne og vil kunne interagere med hinanden. P stationerne kan man vlge mellem et antal lege. Flere af disse stations kan s tilsammen udgre en interaktiv legeverden hvori brnene - enten alene eller i fllesskab - aktivt udforsker spillets muligheder og udfordringer.Interaktionsstanderen fungerer som en spillefordeler eller en playmaker. -muligheder ved at strukturere en lille del af den. Som tweens er man selv aktiv deltager i legen, men den styres delvist af standeren, der srger for at legen bibeholder sin struktur samtidig med at den er underholdende og udfordrende, samt skaber rammer for social samspil i legen. Eksempelvis kunne de indeholde lege a la rundbold, stafet eller blot noget for den interesserede elev med hang til udforskning.

    Hvordan skaber man et design til tweens, der opfordrer til bevgelser og som samtidig er sjovt og udfordrende?

    Den overordnede vision for opgaven er at arbejde med design der skaber get bevgelse hos tweens. Hvis tweens skal bevge sig mere krver det, at vi som designere fr opstillet de rigtige rammer. Jeg vil gerne skabe legeredskaber, som motiverer brnene p deres egne prmisser. Tan-

Projektet hviler p en id om at samarbejde med dette univers i stedet for at modarbejde det. Det ville vre svrt at udkonkurrere et medie der er s udbredt og har s stor kommerciel opbakning. I stedet br det virtuelle univers udnyttes til at motivere til social, udendrs aktivitet.Ved at erkende at vi lever i en foranderlig og teknologisk verden vil jeg forsge at arbejde p tweens prmisser.Jeg vil i denne give et alternativ til de passive indendrs computerspil.     Many people skip the break-fast, because they dont have time. This results in unstable bloodsugar and fatique

    With the new blender its faster and easier to make a smoothie that you can enjoy to go.

    INSPIRATIONMan kan bruge pap p mange forskel-lige mde. Brugen af pap giver nu mu-lighed for at skabe bedre forhold til de hjemlse. Pap for et nyt liv og giver nyt live til de hjem-lse. I det flgende studeres en eksist-ederende genan-vendelse af pap. Man har rig mu-lighed for at vari-ere former, udtryk, omkostninger, samt strrelser. Pap gr det mulig for alle at vre designere. Pap appellerer til hjemlse i form af sin simplicitet. Hjemlse for mu-lighed for at delt-age. Det giver dem ejerskab. Pappen personificeres og p denne mde bliver pap bde flot, brugbart og multi-funktionelt. pap it up!

    INSPIRATION

    Here is a small view of my inspiration. A shelter, a feel-ing af a hous, a intimatie

    roomcreater(rumdeler)Furnitures that you can actually use.

    There is about 5000 home-less people in Denmark and the numbers are still growing. This design solution gives the homeless a choice about how to live their life.

    They can join the cardboard center and use it as a social

    platform. At the center, the homeless can come to craft a shelter for the night, before bringing it to the streets. In this way their basic needs are covered. If desired they can also, choose to socialize with people in same situation.In this way, its their choice how to use the cardboard center.

  • vA collaboration between bike/tv store is made. There will be a weekly transportation day to bring used card boxes to the card board center.

    When the usage of the product isover, it will again be a part of its original cycle.

    The cardboard will be transported to the nearest combustion center

    At the cardboard center, the card-board will be catogorized and man-aged by volenteers and homeless.

    The cardboard will be transformed into the desired design from the cataloque.

    This lamp is called ENLIGHT and is about enlighting Denmark about the problemwith homelessness.

    This chair is designed for homeless people, giveing them an oppor-tunity to lean back and enjoy that they are welcome!

    Through developing a web-site, people can volenteer to the cardboard center. Students can also build their own furniture, or even up load a new designs.

    Dentus toothpaste dispenser is about transforming tooth-brushing into something fun

    with a vivid personal charac-ter. Dentus also gives you the right amount of toothpaste in one movement. The dispencer is ergonomic shaped and will give children good habits that can last for life.

    I dag er Gellerup et boligomrde med et drligt omdmme pga. den megen kriminalitet som bliver beget i omrdet. 90 % af beboerne i Gellerupparken har anden etnicitet end dansk, og hvoraf de 80 % er p overfrselsindkomst. Gellerupparken fremstr som et lukket samfund, og interagere ikke med resten af rhus og omegn.

    Byrdet i rhus har vedtaget Helhedsplanen- fra boligomrde til bydel som endelig implementeres i 2030. En del af planen er en stor bypark, hvor aktiviteter for de unge er i fokus. Den indledende research, har tydelig vist en eftersprgsel efter mere aktivitet i omrdet, bde for de unge mennesker og for familierne. Da det primrt er de unge der begr kriminalitet har vi valgt at fokusere p aktiviteter til dem. Vi nsker igennem aktivitetsfremmende designlsninger at skabe et tryggere og mere velfungerende milj i Gellerupparken. Med udgangspunkt i den nye Bypark i Helhedsplanen, nsker vi at skabe rum for aktivitet og socialt fllesskab, samt at fremme visionerne fra Helhedsplanen om ejerskab fra beboernes side i den lille skala.

    Group IndividualDesign task: Prevention of crime in Gellerup housing area amongst young people. Process: 2 Weeks research.-Area analysis, interviews, photos, day-night observa-tions. Identifying main problems.

    Idea generation & concept creation for a new activity zone. Identifying what young people want. Working with awknodlegdement and giving responsibility to the users of final concept; a stage.

    This project is about collaborating with young people from areas with high criminal rates and acknowled-ing their needs by givng them alternatives to crime. This project is about developping a new social platform.

    Randers, a fast growing city in Denmark. Recent years developement has created a need for expansion. The site to be developed is the old industrial harbour in Randers.

    The concept is a new dynam-ic meeting point between a green belt of nature and the

    urban city. Its about integrat-ing the harbour environment with the rest of the city. The new habour will become a new active part of Randers, offering many activties like a new climbing center, sports-facilities and new recreational areas,

    Random Hacks of Kindess (RHoK) has a mission to make the world a better place through a global community of innovation, developing practical open technology. Their partners are Google, Mi-crosoft, Yahoo!, NASA, HP and the World Bank.

    In rhus (Denmark), a big RHoK congress was held in 2010. I worked with the RHoK-team of Denmark to create a visual campaign.

    The outcome was several posters and flyers where I developped a concept for a post-it movie which were published on rhok.org, rhok.dk and at rhus university home-page.

    I worked for Vestas department for Global Innovation as a design consultant, working with information graphics. I transformed a quarterly rapport into a visual experience

    I also worked with developping a new business card for the departmment of innovation. They wanted a costumized business card but could not change the original Vestas Design. My solution is called add on. Its a serie of different stickers, that you can add on to your business card, depending on purpose and person.
