a full spectrum of nineteenth century

architecture capitalizing on prime

selected client with a primary focus on

the boundaries between interior and

exterior and the relation of built form to

site and exterior space.

a distinct neighborhood in Cincinnati

which provides entertainment, shopping

and dining to a diverse community near

the University of Cincinnati.

challenge:Design a branch library which benefits

the neighborhood and explore what

important qualities are necessary in a

modern library.

It is often filled with larger group crits or

independent students working on their

craft.

challenge:Investigate the process of making ‘real’

space. Each team will construct enough

units to construct an 8’ x 8’ screen

wall. The developed single ‘unit’ will

interconnect with its same for the making

of the screen and allow for a variable

design.
