  • "My cardinal sin is to be subjected to visual things.I have eyes and everything visual, drawing, painting, sculpture, architecture, for me is the same. Itsymphony. The architecture requires certainqualities of the brain thinking, or conception. Theother things too, but with possibilities manuals."

"I always was interested in creative, especially as itapplies to man and his environment. With painting Icould realize that. It's an exciting and dangerousenvironment."

"I prefer drawing to talking. Drawing is faster, andleaves less room for lies" .

  • CITY IN THE BORDER OF THE SEA - FERROL

Ferrol is a city in the region of A ?????? in Galicia, located on the Atlantic coast in north-western Spain.

The city has been a major naval shipbuilding centre for most of its history, being the capital of the Spanish Navy's Maritime Department of the North since the time of the early "Borbones". Before that, in the 17th Century, Ferrol was the most important arsenal in Europe.

A supplementary building to the current museum has been projected, designed to musealization center and navigation interpretation, shipbuilding and times of the "Enlightenment" (18th Century) in the city of Ferrol.

It has several exhibition halls, a deposit for newworks and a great conference room.

  • To carry out the intervention in the plot, a preliminary analysis of all the factors involved in the project has been made. The river is the starting point because it is the main revitalizing element. Each of the elements are projected towards it, bending and turning, continuing the route of the river and the contours lines.

Also, it borns a great promenade along the river. The walk is broken down and it generates intermediate squares. Another factor that is also very important in this project is the restoration and creation of green spaces. Landscaping combined with the urban architecture, generating large green and wooded areas for the enjoyment of people.

The image of the hand symbolizes the adaptation to the plot and topography of all the projected elements and, in the same way, the new paths reinforce this concept.

  • The RESIDENTIAL BUILDING includes flats of two, three andfourd bedrooms. It is a bulding of four floors and basementparking. The floor is projected parallel to the road, turning andvarying its height respectively with the level differences. Theservice area faces the road, while the bedrooms and living roomare oriented toward the river.

There is a small opening on the ground floor that allows thepassage from one side to another and gives direct access to thespa.

In the case of SINGLE FAMILY HOMES, it is played with the idea of creating volumes at different heights which also marks the different rooms of the house. The highlight of the project is the introduction of a courtyard that gives more light inside the house and allows venting some of the rooms.

  • The spa program is spreads over three floors. he spa area and the Xsers and personnel area are located in the groXnd floor. 7he facilities is located in the basement. A composition of bo[es is created, in the first floor, at different heights to clearly distingXish the different Xses and an aesthetic effect.

Those pieces move between them thereby strengthening the initial idea of the project. Each volume has a different function, Zhere are located the gym, the cafeteria, the lobby Zith a small reading room and the management offices.

The building is presented as a play of materials, transparency and opacity in the new volumes, integrated it with the environment. In this way it incorporates perforated metal panels into the new image, as an outer skin that protects the solar indoor facilities and gives it greater privacy. A greater or lesser degree of vision is defined, and also the input light is achieved.

  • Monastery proyect, on a plot located in the Santiagode Compostela.

Santiago de Compostela is the capital of theautonomous community of Galicia in northwesternSpain. Santiago is a very important city because hasa great story. The city has its origin in the shrine ofSaint James the Great, now the city's cathedral, asdestination of the Way of St. James, a leadingCatholic pilgrimage route originated in the 9thcentury. In 1985 the city's Old Town was designateda UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After a study of the different areas of the city, theBelvis park was chosen as urbanistic enclavebecause there are religious preexistence in thearea . Furthermore the land has a very interestingslope and is a symbolic place in the city

  • The project stems from the idea of anintervention that it is adapted to thecharacteristics of the place.

the architectural complex is structured orientingthe views to the city and the naturalenvironment. It is articulated longitudinally andat different heights, thus adapting to the slope ofthe plot

In this way, the program is distributed in a seriesof volumes that are semi-buried in the groundand are adapted to the morphology of the place.

Vertically, the volumes are sorted from bottomto top and from left to right, depending on thedegree of privacy of the uses to which they areintended.

The public area is located at the bottom linked tothe main access. The private area where arelocated the monk's cells, is in the top of the plotand has own entrance

  • The exterior is an exposed concrete wall inharmony with the surroundings,

The opacity of these walls decreases as welearn. The buildings located on the bottom of theplot, which are in contact with the public road, have longitudinal top windows whose solefunction is to introduce light into the interiorspaces.

Instead, the monk's cells are completely open tothe outside. They are located in the upper areaprotected by the great slope, the orchards and aseries of sliding panels. these panels arecomposed of wooden slats that allow to controlthe light .

The roof garden serves to integrate the volumeson the ground. It is composed of out with aseries of expanded polystyrene blocks to allowlighten the weight.

Renders of a single family home located in the municipality of Pontecesures, Pontevedra (Spain).

Sometimes the best way for a customer knows howhis home will be is through a 3D.

Renders allow us to teach how the work and environment will be in the place where it will be built, and certainly, these images show us an almost identical version of reality.

In addition, through these realistic pictures , it is achieved to see possible problems with the spaces or volumes when we are working on the real work. In this way we can make changes to avoid those possible problems.

Another advantage is that we can know the play of lights and shadows and to see the effects that they create.
