Splitter, Multiplexer and OADM Active Form-Factor CardsOptelian’s product line includes highly reliable DWDM, CWDM, and WDM multiplexer and splitter cards. These are supported in the active shelves and the passive OMS-119 shelf.
Banded DWDM is available to reduce insertion losses on add/drop applications. Optics can be either uni or bidirectional. Many models include a legacy (1310 or 1550 nm) port for overlaying new channels on existing circuits and a faceplate monitor port to aid installation and testing.
While there are many standard models to choose from, custom modules can be designed and delivered based on specific customer requirements

CWDM Multiplexer/Demultiplexer with Legacy 1310 or 1550 nm Wavelength
Multiplexer/Demultiplexer units can be used in either unidirectional or bidirectional applications. With Mux/Demux pairs, the insertion losses are complementary on the deumux unit to extend the system’s reach.
The 9-channel mux/demux pair is useful for hybrid CWDM/DWDM applications.
