PORTFOLIO OVERVIEW Splitter, Multiplexer and OADM Active Form-Factor Cards Optelian’s product line includes highly reliable DWDM, CWDM, and WDM multiplexer and splitter cards. These are supported in the active shelves and the passive OMS-119 shelf. Banded DWDM is available to reduce insertion losses on add/drop applications. Optics can be either uni or bidirectional. Many models include a legacy (1310 or 1550 nm) port for overlaying new channels on existing circuits and a faceplate monitor port to aid installation and testing. CWDM Multiplexer/Demultiplexer with Legacy 1310 or 1550 nm Wavelength

Multiplexer/Demultiplexer units can be used in either unidirectional or bidirectional applications. With Mux/Demux pairs, the insertion losses are complementary on the deumux unit to extend the system’s reach.

The 9-channel mux/demux pair is useful for hybrid CWDM/DWDM applications.
