THE WHOLE FOODS MARKET STORE SITS ON TOP OF A SINGLE LEVEL OF PARKING BELOW. THE STORE AND DECK ARE
CONNECTED VIA ELEVATORS, AN ESCALATOR, AND AN INCLINED MOVING WALKWAY DESIGNED TO CARRY BOTH PEOPLE AND
GROCERY CARTS.

THE CORNER IMAGE SHOWN HERE, WITH STORE SIGNAGE, FACES THE MAIN APPROACH TO THE SITE. THE STORE SITS ON TOP OF A SINGLE LEVEL OF PARKING. THE ALUMINUM FRAMES WITHIN THE OPENINGS AT THE PARKING LEVEL ARE VOID OF GLASS TO ALLOW FOR VENTILATION.

PROSPECT PARK – ALPHARETTA, GA – PARKING DECK AT WHOLE FOODS MARKETThe trellis at the corner of the parking deck is shown below. The trellis extends along the edge of the deck (as indicated) and wasalso utilized between parking spaces facing each other at the center of the deck. The aluminum frames at the parking level belowthe top of the deck are void of glass to allow for ventilation.

BUILDING C IS COMPRISED OF A PARKING LEVEL, GROUND FLOOR RETAIL SHOPS, AND 3 FLOORS OF RESIDENTIAL. AS PROJECT MANAGER MY ROLE WAS TO DEVELOP THIS BUILDING FROM THE SCHEMATIC DESIGN PHASE THRU CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS. THIS PROJECT WAS DESIGNED TO EARN USGBC LEED CERTIFICATION FOR CORE AND SHELL.
