Hello! I’m Rashelle, the owner and photographer of Rashelle Rose Photography. If you’re reading this, you’re on your way to having some fantastic pictures!.

Rashelle Rose Photography is studio located in Sydney north west, that captures classic and timeless images of your family.

As a mother of two beautiful children, I completely under-stand the precious value of photographs. Time flies and be-fore you know it, your baby is walking, your little ones have big teeth that fill the gaps that once caused an adorable lisp, and the training wheel disappear.

I have a Diploma in Photography and a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, and feel that my training re-ally helps me design your photos from the background, location, styling, and editing. I take time to plan out sessions and I am always thinking of fun and creative ways to make your session stand out. Photography is my dream job and I jump out of bed everyday excited to keep living the dream.

Rashelle Rose Photography embraces lifestyle photography.

We’re not a portrait factory. Each family or child who is photographed is done so on an individual basis with different looks and different locations to bring out their real beauty and true personality. We believe that photography should be fun and feel natural.

Having your pictures taken shouldn’t be about having perfect outfits and kids that smile angelically. Your kids are this age only once. And sometimes that means they won’t stand still and smile. And that’s okay!

We’ll let them have fun, play, and be themselves. That makes for great pictures! So if you’re looking for a photographer to capture the true spirit of your family, we’re going to be a great fit!

THE EXPERIENCE!

What the session fee includes:• One- to two-hour on location session for one

family, up to five people. Additional peopleare $25.

• Two locations and two outfit choices

• Styling consultation

• $50 credit towards prints purchased

• 30 proofs viewable online or in person from which to select your prints. Session fee does not include any prints

Quick Tips

When children are part of the session, talk to them about it ahead of time, and have a pretend photo ses-sion at home to help them relax and overcome shy-ness. It’s also a good idea to set your appointment at the time of the day when younger children are well rested.

• Bring your child’s favorite toy.

• Bring an extra change of clothes.

• Let the photographer know about things that make your child laugh.

• If you are giving the child a special sweet treat, please wait until the end of the session

Deciding what to wear for your portrait session can be a lot of fun! The key things to remember when it comes to determining what to wear are to keep everyone casual and confortable. Here are some other suggestions I have put together to help you and your family look great for your protrait session:

1. COORDINATEShow off your individual personalities by wearing complementary pieces that help the family to look cohesive, yet still allow for each person to shine in his or her own uniqueness.

2. LAYERS ARE COOLIt’s a good idea to bring a layer or two with you in case of weather changes or clothing mishaps. Adding accesories such as scarves, jackets or other layering pieces that coordinate is a great way to change up the overall look.

3 DEATILS MATTERLadies this is a perfect excuse to get a fresh coat of paint on those fingers and toes, if you feel so inclined. Some-times close up shots of family members holding hands or sitting together barefoot will happen, so just in case this moment presents itself, make sure all fingernails and exposed toes are looking clean and at their best on every fam-ily member.

4. TEXTURES AND PATTERNS AND COLORSYou can definitely mix and match these three elements together, but do so carefully so as not to distract from the actual people in the portraits. I love color and highly encourage splashes of colors in some way. The best tip is to choose a color palette of up three colors and then build everyone’s outfits around those colors.

5. THINGS TO AVOIDShirts with logos or distracting graphics, clothing that feels uncomfortable, black or white as dominant color and haircuts the day before

• Be sure your outfits are free of wrinkles.

• Bring at least a change of clothes for everyone.

• Bring a favorite snack for the kids.

• Trust the the photographer, relax and have fun!
