How a Terminal Should Not Look!

The Monitor is turned and not facing the cashier.

There is to be no clutter on or around the terminals

The Scanner should not be in front of the cash-draw it should be in its holster.

The Receipt Printer is slanted and should not be.

The Sport-bottle, Scanner holster, and receipt is on the register.

Correct Set-Up for Daily Use

Notice how the parameter around the terminal is clean and free of all clutter.

The receipt printer is sitting on top of the rear of the cash draw and free from debris and liquids, which is ideal.

Both the scanner and its holster is positioned on the side of the terminal. The Scanner is also in the Holster free from harms way. Note: The Scanner’s should always be in the holster if it’s not being used. Doing so will ensure that it functions correctly.

The Monitor and its screen is clean and free of sticky residue, pollen, and dust.

Terminal Positioning at Close of business day.

The scanner holster has been lowered so that once the scanner is placed in, both units will fit snuggly under the terminal screen

The Monitor is positioned in the center and because of this has extra room for printer and scanner

The HP receipt printer is tucked snuggly under the monitor screen.

The area in front of the cash draw is free from clutter, this is ideal
