The POSCO-MALAYSIA o�ces house some 100 employees -- mostly local -- who receive on the job training that not only enhance their knowledge of EGI technology but the opportunity to also hone their skills, considered necessary for running a plant of this stature. POSCO-MALAYSIA is located in the industrial park of Pulau Indah with quick access to the ports and the city of Klang. The area is served by �rst-class network of highways and secondary roads.
The EGI plant, jointly conceived by Malaysian engineers and EGI specialists from POSCO is testimony to a successful partnership between Malaysia and Korea.

Teamwork is essential and strongly encouraged with the more senior sta� guiding the junior
ones. Regular meetings are held to update and keep everyone in the ‘loop’.
