Poisonous Plants

There are 350,000 kinds of plants in the world, some which are poisonous.

They may be found on deep forest or even in the household gardens.

It is important that you learn to

recognize them.

1. House Plants – these are the decorative poisonous plants that may be found inside or near your home.

Dumb cane – when eaten can cause burning, swelling or even death.

Poison Ivy – is a shrub or a vine that has three

leaflets. A bushy poison ivy is called a poison oak.

It gives of an oil that when rubbed against the skin can

cause blister.

If you think that you’ve accidentally touch

an ivy plant, here’s what to do:

1. Wash the affected are with soap and water

2. Do not let it touch the other parts of your body

3. Carefully wash the clothes you wore

4. Use alcohol after washing

5. Put lotion for relieve the burning and itching
