At Tuxford we promise that you will find Post 16 Education is both enjoyable and stimulating. We are able to attract the best teachers – and they ensure that your studies are both interesting and rewarding. We provide a range of student services to make your time in the Post 16 Centre more comfortable.

Today’s students face increased pressure from exams, deadlines and difficult choices – so they need the expert advice and sympathetic guidance that Tuxford is famous for.

Teamwork is not just our aim; it is also our whole approach to working. Staff are informal and approachable. They understand the pressure felt by students – and they know how to support students to meet their targets.

VoiceStudent

Self-motivation, responsibility for decision-making, confidence in different situations: these are just a few of the skills you will need beforeleaving for university or the workplace. At Tuxford we encourage you to develop as young adults. We don’t tell you the “correct” answer to issues of the day, but we do show you how to construct a reasoned argument and how to respect the views of others. Our ethos is one of respect: respect for ourselves, respect for the environment, respect for the community and other people, respect for education and the difference it can make to people’s lives.
