(M-14)Slowly but surely, inch-by-inch, the traditional ‘Kirana’ stores is giving way to organised retail, mostly powered by social media marketing, e-commerce, a younger population and larger disposition of wealth. In India today, across Metros, big cities and even small towns, construction of shopping malls account for a very high share of real estate business. These Shopping Malls have outlets of domestic and international retail chains. Therefore, this has created a big market for jobs in organised retail such as Retail Managers and Executives. Retail managers are responsible for everything that makes a store function, such as budgeting, negotiating with brand managers, procurement, logistics and supply chain, stocking, merchandising, PoP Promotions, sales floor management, profit maximizing, recruiting and training of executives, sales promotions, billing systems, and customer service.

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (BVB) was established by Kulpati Shree Dr. Kanaiyalal Maneklal Munshiji in 1938 in Mumbai to promote education and professional training along with the values and virtues of India and Indian Culture. He was a freedom fighter along with Gandhiji and later a member of the Indian Constituent Assembly. Today the group is very well known and has many colleges, schools, cultural centers, and other institutions through which it contributes significantly to academic, cultural, and social development across the country.
