Course Entry Requirements
Leaving Certificate/Leaving Cert Applied
Genuine Interest in Engineering as a career.
Commit to the required course attendance and assignments.

Courses are;
•One academic year duration/30 weeks.
•Run from Sept-May.
•Classes run from 9:00am – 12.00pm (4 days per week).
•2 class periods per module per week.
•Work Placement (1 day per week).
•Level 5 FETAC Qualification on successful completion of the course.

Attendance – Will be monitored and will form part of the successful awarding of a level 5 certificate upon completion of the course.
Assignments - are spread across the year.
Assessment - is a combination of continuous assessment, project work and final examinations.
To receive the FETAC Level 5 Certificate students must pass all eight modules of the Course.
