RMTS 2016 proved to be bigger and better as compared all its previous editions with the event being permanently reallocated to the massive venue of the The NSIC Ground Rajkot. RMTS 2016 was a hit in terms of its �ourishing multifold experience that it offered to visitors and participants with its infrastructure and state-of-the-art amenities of its venue.
The trade show focused on displaying the most concurrent technologies, products and services in the representative domains, while providing an apt platform to companies in the engineering, machinery and machine tools domains to showcase their indigenous technology and latest developments.
Breaking all the domain barries, India's leading exhibition for the engineering sector, RMTS 2016 had players from all related �elds of engineering and machine tools registering for humongous sales and interactive and fruitful deals. With innovation and technology being the vital parameters of RMTS 2016, substantial efforts were made to identify the importance of individuals, small and medium enterprises as sources of innovation.

During the event, KMG also hosted a melodious evening on 25th November, 2016 to the tunes of Music director Jigar Gadhvi, Dipti Sharma (India's Rawstar Fame), Ankita Shrivstav (Bollywood Actor & Dancer) accompanied by Gala dinner.
Soaring newer heights of Excellence, Like Always ! The trade show witnessed participation from nearly 400 companies spread over 9 countries. Exhibitors got enquiries worth 70% of their Sales Target during the event. 100% Exhibitors were happy from the exposure, enquiries & branding from RMTS 2016. An awe-inspiring turnover of 473 cr. was recorded from RMTS 2016. 70% exhibitors con�rmed their participation in RMTS 2016 during the 6th RMTS. Visitors of RMTS included Presidents of Associations & Chambers, Managing Directors, Vice Presidents & Executive Directors of Various MNCs
and Production and Purchase Managers, MLA's.
With the grand success of the show, we have been inspired to set up even a bigger stage for the upcoming edition featuring world class facilities for display and also facilitated corporate communications, publicity promotions, liaison with government bodies, apart from inter-and intra business interactions.
Rajkot Machine Tools Show :A Step Towards a Better Future The Machine Tools Industry is considered to be the backbone of all the engineering industry. When it comes to production Rajkot is the 3rd largest Machine Tools Manufacturer in the country of Bangalore and Pune. Currently Rajkot is the leading manufacturer of conventional machine tools and with the increasing demand inflow; opportunities from across the globe are coming towards Rajkot.
The entry of big names such as AMW, ATUL AUTO, TATA, MARUTI, FORD and Now PEUGEOT into the Gujarat region has ensured that the market of auto ancillary industry is moving upwards. Rajkot is most likely to overtake the current 3rd spot in the coming few years as a few other major automobile manufacturers are also planning to have their manufacturing plants in the region and make it a preferred AUTOMOBILE HUB.
About 350 to 400 machine tool companies out of which 95% units are producers of conventional machine tools and supply across India. According to industry sources, since the past few years, the share of local consumption of tools has also increased from 10% to 20% given the growth in auto parts,foundry and engineering industries in the country.
In the last couple of months, the automobile industry in India has seen a significant growth amidst fears of rising interest rates and raw commodity prices. Having a turnover of over Rs. 1200 crores, the Rajkot auto ancillary industry is growing by 35% per annum.
According to a report in the Business Standard: �The machine tools industry in Rajkot has been on the growth mode ever since the industry has changed gears from the last year.� According to the report, �as against a 25% rise in production capacity, order books for the industry have been rising by about 100%.�During the financial year of 2010-2011, the industry has achieved its set target of Rs. 800 Crores turnover, posting a growth of 30% per annum. The Rajkot based industry has also lately seen support from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) for technology upgradation.
To promote the machine tools industry and to invite more business to Rajkot, KMG Business Technology and Machine Tools Manufacturers� Association - Rajkot has taken an initiative to organize �The Rajkot Machine Tools Show�, a complete engineering exhibition specifically designed to promote Machine Tools Machinery, Automation, Automotive Technology, Forging & Foundry Industry.The previous editions of Rajkot Machine Tools Show were a grand success and recorded a business of 450 Crores (In three editions) and visitors over 52,000 in each edition.
