Our  son  Jonathan  aka  The  Bold  Joff  is  a  young  man  living  with  Lowe  Syndrome.  He  has  PMLD,  sensory,  physical  and  healthcare  support  needs.  In  a  word,  Joff  is  LEGENDARY.  From  his  endless  search  for  every  ray  of  sun  to  his  wee  backwards  wave  of  goodbye,  he  is  amazing.      Cheers  @GallusEffie    #Jus$ceforLB

This  is  my  awesome  dude,  Ma]hew.    Ma]hew  was  diagnosed  with  Severe  Au$sm  and  Global  Developmental  Delay  when  he  was  22  months  old.  He  will  be  15  next  month.  Ma]  is  non-­‐verbal  and  has  challenging  behaviour.  He  is  the  light  of  my  life  and  I  absolutely  adore  his  view  of  the  world….  He  loves  the  simple  things  we  all  take  for  granted,  like  watching  leaves  blowing  in  the  wind…  He  loves  watching  traffic,  his  favourite  food  is  McDonalds,  he  loves  his  sister  and  brother,  and  his  favourite  possession  is  his  weighted  therapy  blanket  in  this  postcard…  It’s  all  the  more  special  as  it  was  a  gib  from  one  of,  if  not  THE  nicest  people  we’ve  never  met….    This  is  our  tribute  to  LB.    Linda  Johnson

The  Gold  Group  are  awesome  because  we  are  a  group  of  older  people  with  learning  disabili$es  who  have  been  mee$ng  together  for  16  years  and  campaigning  about  making  things  be]er  for  people  with  LD  as  they  get  older.      We  go  to  mee$ngs,  we  talk  at  conferences,  we’ve  made  films  and  plays,  wri]en  a  book  about  demen$a  and  advised  lots  of  organisa$ons  and  government  policies.    We  meet  at  Respond.
