BACKGROUND : The Shining is a film from Stanley Kubrick , based off the terrifying novel by Stephen King, which is about a man played by Jack Nicolson , who finds a job at a hotel resort . The job entailed to make sure no damage is seen or heard of for his stay, and bring his family with him.... during the stay he loses his mind and goes on a killing rampage. I'm doing this as an anniversary limited poster(silk screened) , or just a poster in respects to Stephen King, and Stanley Kubrick.
Target Audience : Anyone who has seen the shining , ages 17-60, worldwide. except south Dakota, or Utah.
Objectives: Feel the horror of the film, and reminisce about how great life used to be back then when the movie was released, and maybe spark a neuron to go out and find the film, or love the poster and the designer behind it.
Obstacle: Curse words within the poster may offend, but with its design, and effective communication through the typographic structure, it won't appear as vulgar.
