Performance of the local synthesizers

Frequency extension TX/RX radio front-ends for VHF/UHF range

The main function of the frequency extension radio front-end is the frequency conversion between the radiated (RF) and digitally

processed (IF) frequency domain

From the universal

common structure

specialized font-end

tuners could derive

The universal structure is based on a triple-conversion heterodyne

frequency translator with some receive and transmit channels with independent or phase coherent common local synthesizers and

embedded controller.

Analysis of 4Mcps wideband DSSS signal

using DCU-214 based spectrum analyser

The local frequency synthesizers of our tuners

are optimized for wide tinning bandwidth for fast
