Timescales for the Submission and Examination Process

TheexaminationprocessforaPGRdegreeinvolves a different set of examiners forevery student, and requires the robustprocessthatisdescribedabove.

It is important to understand the timerequired for the process of submission, examination, corrections, approvalbytheBoard of Examiners, and proceeding tograduation.

Your Examiners will hold the oralexamination as soon as they reasonablycan after submission, but you mustnot pressurise them into rushing theexamination process. For example, it isnotreasonabletoexpectyourExaminersortheCollegeBoardofExaminerstorushthe process so that you can meet theregistration deadline for Graduation. Itis your responsibility to understand thetimerequiredforthisprocess.
