◎ Multipurpose salvage vessel with unlimited navigation area of high ice class is intended for search and assistance to vessels in distress; for search, rescue and evacuation of people; for refloat from ground damaged vessels and their towing; fire fighting on vessels, fire fighting of fuel burning on water; oil spills response; performance of deep-water diving operations at the depth up to 300 m; survey of a sea-bottom and damaged objects on depth down to 1000 m.

◎ To perform these purposes the vessel is equipped with diesel-electric power plant with 2 full-circle propulsion units’ total power of 4 MW and with 2 bow thrusters of 995 kW each.

◎ The requirements of dynamic positioning DYNPOS-2 are satisfied for waves up to four points, wind speed up to 10 m/s and current up to 3 knots. The anti-heeling system is foreseen.

◎ Special equipment including water curtain and drenching systems is installed on the vessel in accordance with the FF3 requirements for fire fighting.

◎ Marine towages are provided by stern towing winch with bollard pull about 70 t with automatic and remote release.◎ Marine evacuation system is installed for people rescue from water surface.◎ The vessel is fitted out with onboard oil-gathering system and 2 boom laying boats for oil spills response.◎ 2 cranes with lifting capacity of 20 t each and handling radius of 15 m are intended for lowering and lifting of boats,

diving equipment and for handling of oil spill response equipment.◎ The vessels are intended to expand and renew state rescue fleet of State Marine Pollution Control and Salvage and
