Not to Exceed Budget Costs for Roof Replacement and Related Building Envelope Scope Items
Additional Building Envelope Items that are not Directly Related to the Roof Replacement, but do Represent Ongoing Facility Issues of Priority:
Site-wall by cooling tower traps moisture and masonry is deteriorating. Recommend demolishing wall and re-building a lower wall with new pipe supports installed on new footers.
The control joint adjacent to the pedestrian bridge is insufficiently sized to absorb the movement of the bridge structure, causing brick masonry damage. Recommend re-building this area to include a 2” wide control joint and replacing broken brick.
There are leaks reported in the mechanical space below the brick wall pictured here. Recommend remove brick along the base of the wall, installing a new through-wall flashing, and re-installing brick at this location.
