Marcelino dos Santos
M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in EE, Universidade Técnica de Lisboa, Instituto Superior Técnico, in 1994 and 2001
He teaches at Instituto Superior Técnico since 1990.
Coordinator of the specialization in electronics.
Researcher at INESC-ID since 1988 where he is currently the head of the research group on Quality, Test and Co-Design of
HW/SW Systems.
Advisor of 6 MSc and 9 PhD students and his research interests include power management, testability, and
education on microelectronics.
He is the CTO and a co-founder of SiliconGate, an Integrated Circuit design company specialized in Analogue and Mixed-Signal IP with emphasis on power management and ultra
low power design.
