In 2010 Power Service, Inc began production on 6’ X 20’ Hori- zontal Heated Oil Emulsion Treater packages. With increased production of oil in the Rocky Mountain Region some of our customers brought this need to us. We answered the call by beginning production immediately. Our packages include the Treater Vessel, Fuel Gas Scrubber, Burner, & all associated piping and controls. All mounted on a skid with an enclosure for the control end of the unit. This allows us to offer a turnkey package that can be tailored to meet different needs. One example of this is the ability to of- fer Pnuematic or Mechanical operated controls. These units feature a 1 million BTU Flameco Burner assembly and Kimray Level & Dump Controls. These units also include safety fea- tures such as a low level shutdown, temperature controls, & a fluid Safety Float for the Fuel Gas Scrubber / Burner system. The Safety float prevents Burner system flooding that can re- sult in costly shut downs. All fabricated items are done in house here at Power Service, Inc. Both the 6’ X 20’ Treater & Fuel Gas Scrubber vessels bear the ASME “U” stamp. We currently have a continuous production line in place to produce these units in large num- bers. With recent additions to our Pressure Vessel Fabrication & Assembly Facilities those numbers will continue to grow. Our 2012 backlog already includes 72 units that have been sold. It also includes more than 25 units for stock. Our production line is currently producing 3-4 units per week. We anticipate this will increase with the continued increases in demands. We also have Vertical Heated Oil Emulsion Treaters in our produc- tion line que as well. These can be provided as turnkey units also, with internal or external water / oil interface piping. Here at Power Service, Inc our ASME shop has produced over 400 Pressure Vessels since the receipt of our ASME certifica- tions in the spring of 2010. With our incredible line up of Oil Treaters, Vertical Scrubbers, Filter Separators, & a wide vari- ety of other Vessel projects, 2012 is sure to be a great year for us. Power Service has been asked to design and fabricate small Portable Water Pipeline Transfer Units for many of the Bak-ken Producers. We’ve utilized both Stainless Steel Vertical Multistage Centrifugals at up to 500 PSIG, as well as, Moyno Progressive Cavity pumps for this Low Flow, High Head Ap-plication.

The packaged units shown in the pictures are fully self con-tained and include a G&L eSV 20-Stage Centrifugal pipe sized for 30 GPM @ 450 PSIG, All 316SSL Piping and fittings weld-ed to B31.3, a Valvcon 120V Electric Actuator for discharge pressure control, 1” Turbine Flow Meter with a Nuflo MCIII Exp Local Read out, Rosemount Pressure Transmitters, and all wir-ing of end devices to a common J-Box for ease of hook up in the field.

The skid is designed for cold weather applications and includes an 8’ x 9’ Fiberglass Dog House weather enclosure with an R-13 insulation factor, 3.6KW Roughneck Heater, and the skid/sump is insulated w/ 2” of Polyfoam insulation. This is just another niche offered by Power Service, with ro-tating equipment that is placed in the oil patch! If you have a need for a Small Water Transfer Pump Module, Please con-tact a Power Service location nearest you or Erik Alberts at (800)743-4774 / [email protected].

PrODUCT LiNEIn early 2010, Power Service entered into an agreement with Compressor Systems, Inc to be the exclusive Pack-ager in the Rocky Mountains for CSI. This agreement enabled CSI to utilize our location in Casper, WY as the Rocky Mountain hub for packaging their compressor sys-tems ranging in size from 200HP up to 5000HP, either electric or natural gas engine driven. Power Service, Inc.’s experienced staff of fabricators, fitters, welders, and assemblers in conjunction with our central Rocky Mountain location that allows for direct access for local customers to inspect their packages during assembly, made Power Service, Inc’s corporate headquarters the ideal location for both our customers and CSI.

Upon successful completion of our first (7) Ariel JGK-4 Stage, 1500HP, “Cold Weather Packages”, PSI and CSI were awarded a project for (3) CAT 3606 Ariel JGC-4 stage packages. These units are completely turnkey with all necessary process pipe below grade, instrumen-tation, PLC control panel, lighting, hoist/crane system, oil tanks, insulated building, etc (also known as an “Arctic Package” or “Canadian Package”). CSI & Power Ser-vice’s engineering and design teams worked together to design this facility with optimal operational and mainte-nance space as the main priority. An acoustical and tor-sional study was also performed on the package design to ensure proper operation in the field.

All pipe welding was 100% X-rayed and included hydro testing, post-weld heat treatment, pneumatic testing, and alignment checks throughout the assembly process. ASME scrubber, filter, and pulsation bottles were also in-cluded within the package. Power Service, Inc’s qualified welders, QA/QC procedures, and project management team worked hand in hand with CSI’s Midland, TX based engineering staff and CSI’s local sales and service team to ensure a highly engineered, sound, finished product. These units were successfully put through an Engine Run Out test in our Casper facility prior to shipment.

Power Service and Compressor Systems, Inc welcome the opportunity to provide engineering and technical sup-port for our customers’ existing and new natural gas or CO2 compression applications.

Please contact Chris Cohagan at (800)743-4774 ext.1007 or [email protected] to discuss your ap-plication.

Congratulations to our store an employees in Denver, Power Ser-vice of Colorado, for becoming the distributor for Moyno products in the state of Colorado!

Orie Dosdall has just been promoted to Service Manager in our Montana Store. He has been with the company for 5 years now and is a very well rounded and extremely knowledgeable me-chanic. His “Customer Comes First” attitude is an exciting growth for our store.

Our fabrication facility is continually growing. In the month of Oc-tober, we added 30 new assemblers to our facility. We will be adding another shift to help get our fabrication orders out in a more timely matter.

We would like to wish all of our customers and friends a very Happy Holiday Season. Have a Safe and Happy New Year!
