Fast return on investmentThe quick and effective response of a PowerAct active harmonic filter to power system variations ensures:
• Higher process reliability
• Longer equipment life
Improve power quality• Mitigates harmonics
• Stabilizes voltage
PowerAct is a core building block of our smart grid product solutions. PowerAct makes it easy to comply with power quality
standards and demanding grid codes.
Designed IEEE 519-2014 Compliant
Built compact for small areas, PowerAct can expand to 500A inside a cabinet and you can link up to 6 cabinets to deliver a capacity of
3000A. The result is a flexible, controlled, and compact, harmonic filter that is safe, easy to operate. PowerAct is designed to comply
with IEEE 519-2014 harmonic requirements.
Applications for all industries• Motors with variable frequency and variable speed drives
• High pressure pumps with variable frequency drives (VFDs), uninterrupted power supply (UPS), ozone generators
• UV lights in water treatment plants
• HVAC and lighting systems in data centers and commercial buildings
• Conveyor systems and picking robots in warehousing
• Variable speed generators in wind power generation to prevent electrical resonance
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and other sensitive electronics in medical and industrial facilities
• Compressors and drives in plastic molding and extrusion facilities
• Reduced energy costs
• Dependable productivity
• Balances phase loads
• Compensates for poor power factor
• No limitation compensation for all odd harmonics up to the 51st order
• 4 priority settings compensate for harmonics, dynamic
reactive power, voltage control, and unbalanced loads
• Compensation for current or voltage control with 4 different
sensing points
• Energy efficient, 3-level IGBT inverter topology with DC-bus
film capacitors that operate up to 800 v
• Models have dedicated cooling chimney's to protect electronics
• Expandable module and wall mount unit need to be across from
each other.
Future proof processes. Easy to grow. Easy to service.
• Voltage control compensation to improve compensation
and eliminate current sensors
• 7” touch screen or remote access via TCP/IP
• Predictive algorithm provides anti-resonance
protection during network changes
• Comprehensive monitoring and reporting
• IEEE-519-2014, EN 55011, class A1 compliant
• 20-year life expectancy
• Wall mount unit with 125A capacity available
