BuyDesign Configurator for MAC-PAC XE is a browser-based product configurator that can be used to replace Expert Configurator (EC) within MAC-PAC XE to deliver an intuitive graphical user interface, greatly enhanced configuration capabilities, and a point & click rules development environment.

Graphical Configuration

BuyDesign Configurator is an extremely intuitive and productive product configuration engine with a familiar graphical user interface. Going beyond the capabilities of EC, BuyDesign Configurator

provides features like point & click user interaction, multiple user profiles/views for a single ruleset, dynamic pricing recap, information links and applets, rapid navigation and entry for entry of new line items and editing of existing line items, multiple options for dynamic product visualization, and much more.

Graphical Rules Development

The Design Studio provides a development environment that dramatically simplifies development and maintenance of the rules that guide product configuration. Features include a graphical view of rule structures, point & click rule copy and move, rules syntax builder and checker, dramatically simpler option list definition (no need for Ref Cats), matrix definitions, and an integrated test environment.

For companies with an active MAC-PAC XE maintenance and support agreement, TDCI offers two unique financial programs that make it easier to keep your enterprise systems environment moving forward to sup-port changing business needs. These include:

Software Purchase Credits. As a company using MAC-PAC XE, you are eligible each year for a credit equal to the amount of your annual maintenance fee toward the purchase of select TDCI extended solu-tions. That credit can be applied against 10 – 50% of the license fee for a new software purchase de-pending upon the length of your maintenance service commitment at the time of purchase.

This valuable benefit of TDCI‘s maintenance and support program can reduce the cost of new software purchases by thousands of dollars.

Exchange Program. As a company using MAC-PAC XE, you are also eligible for a special program that adds tremendous value for your investment in annual maintenance.
