Our most recent assignment was with a new entrant cement manufacturing company. The assignment was to launch their new cement products in the market. The contract was initially signed for 3 months and then extended to 6 months as a result of the huge success achieved through the activations and promotions.

The objectives of the assignment were :

•  Specific sales target, store listings •  Trade Counter activations in 252 stores located in Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Gauteng, North West

and Eastern Gauteng to train the trade counter staff.

•  Target was 180 trade counter activations per month •  The promoter had to visit the store where they spoke with each Trade counter person, either

collectively or in turn promoting the features and benefits of the company and it’s products.

•  The team were also tasked with: •  Gathering contact details of the Trade counter staff •  Report key questions & queries to the Team leader and the client’s respective sales team •  Provide a call report •  Get a signed log to confirm the visit.

The Trade counter activation team were graded on the following key deliverables : •  Knowledge •  Products •  Uses •  Presentability

The Trade Counter Activation team far exceeded expectations and the ambitious targets that were set.

Monthly target of 180 activations was exceeded every month.

•  Sales growth of 25% achieved within the 1st month of Trade Counter Activations.

•  Monthly sales targets were exceeded every month.

•  A further phenomonal sales month in July 2016 when the ambitious targeted sales were exceeded by more than 18%.

•  Promotional campaign as started in July 2016 and contributed to the exceptional response from the market.

•  Client has confirmed that our Trade Counter Activation team will be recruited again for six months in 2017.
