ANNUAL BOILER INSPECTION / OCC

Operator TrainingOn-site, boiler room training will be provided to plant operators. This training is intended to give industry SOPs, including boiler start-up, shutdown and operating procedures. A copy of all SOPs and procedures will be provided for future reference.

All service contracts will be governed by separately provided terms and conditions. This document provides no guarantee of service or performance. Subject to change without notice.

Boiler Room AuditsComplete boiler room check for any efficiency lapses in any steam, water and fuel systems. All steam-side devices will be checked for proper and safe operation. A report will be generated detailing any suggested repairs, improvements, upgrades or alike, along with any estimated associated costs.

Combustion ReportsA calibrated and certified combustion analyzer will be used to measure boiler performance and efficiency. Certified combustion reports will be provided at various boiler firing ranges. The report will include recommendations for optimal boiler performance, suggested maintenance/replacement items and identify any safety issues.

Feedwater System CheckupAll devices and delivery systems will be checked for proper operation including temperature, pressure and flow. Pressurized devices and safety valves will be checked. Pumps will be checked to ensure they are within proper operating curves.

Boilers require an operating certificate issued by a National Board certified boiler inspector. These certificates need to be renewed on an annual basis. Powerhouse OCC services are provided in compliance with National Board and ASME standards.

Customer is responsible for coordinating the jurisdictional boiler inspection, including scheduling and payment.

Water Chemistry CheckIncoming boiler feedwater will be checked for total hardness (TDS), pH and other key indicators. A detailed analysis of boiler chemicals will be checked against the quality of the city water to ensure a proper mix is being utilized. Any water softening devices will also be checked also for proper operation. A detailed report will be provided.
