1.0 Executive Summary
The purpose of this paper is to update previous HGP topical reviews and to discuss the current overall environment of commercial high level waste (spent fuel) in the U.S., including a brief history of high-level waste, current options for storage and disposal, and individual U.S. commercial operating nuclear plant spent fuel storage capacity.
