• Monitored the weather all afternoon
• Impact at 7:02PM: EF‐4 tornado
• Three RFR units were dispatched to I-30 MVA in Garland before we knew the tornado’s impact on Rowlett.
• Within minutes after the impact our EOC was fully activated
• Requested mutual aid from county and state
• Worked through the night assessing conditions
• It was evident that we were facing the darkest day in Rowlett history
