ConceptConcept

I chose to design a game on the tea making process, which primarily features point based competitive game play.

I chose a simple, but colourful and bright design The game is targeted at those who love tea, or

addictive games

ConceptGameplay flow

Gameplay is based around the simple task of making a cup of tea, only using the DS interactive touch screen and Stylus.

Objectives are timed, With points being awarded for completing tasks well or with style.

The game is designed to be competitive, as the loser does have to make a round of tea as a forfeit.

ConceptVisuals

I envisioned a game with bright friendly colours and simple objects.

I thought this suited the themes of the game, as it is based around tea.

Bright visuals would also allow the interactive objects stand out, those that can be interacted with using the stylus.

Theme I decided upon a very happy/cheery theme to

the game Also included is a cliché take on 'old English

gentlemen, drinking tea' I thought this added an element of humour and

familiarity to the game.

Sounds Sounds for the game are quite simplistic, as the

DS cannot support large sound files. Sounds would mostly consist of effects, Such

as noises to add to elements of the game.

This could include button presses, menu choices, Point scoring, objective complete sounds etc.
