FOCUS Garbage disposal and management. Environmental concern Cleanliness levels in halls of residence especially wash rooms

Huge heaps of garbage are a common sight in and around Makerere. The rubbish is smelly and scattered allover the place yet no one seems bothered.. Some people think its KCCA while others the university responsible for collecting the garbage but they take long.

The photo slides above show the state of university halls washrooms, dirty trenches around the senate building and garbage heaps with in the university. As evidenced in the photos and expressed on audio by some students representatives, there is need for renovations and proper garbage disposal.
