Seasonally inundated wetlands create a number of challenges for revegetating reed-beds using seedlings, especially when planting 10s of thousands of seedling over many hectares.

Plant too soon and you risk;

• Losing seedlings to drying out• Losing seedlings to kangaroo predation

Plant too late and you risk;

• Drowning/washing away of seedlings• Losing of areas to plant due to rising water levels
