Celerity Frequently Asked Questions
Q: The job number isn’t in the list on Celerity. What do I do?
A: Once you have confirmed you have the correct job number, reach out to your Project Manager to confirm job start has been submitted. Then, reach out to Superintendent and Andi to request for the job number to be added to Celerity. Q: A person working for me is not in the employee list. What do I do? A: Is employee a new hire? Follow new hire instructions, leave drop-down box for employee name blank and add employee’s name in NOTES. Is employee a rehire? Contact Andi to advise of rehire and request for rehire to be added to Celerity.
Q; How do I know which phase codes to select?
A: Phase codes are specific to each job number and will be provided by Project Manager.
Q: I need to submit a phone reimbursement but cost type of Other isn’t an option, or I need to submit mileage reimbursement but cost type of Travel isn’t an option. What do I do?
A: These cost types are added to all jobs by default. If you see that a cost type is missing, notify Andi and request for it to be added.
Q: I am having trouble logging into Celerity. What do I do?
A: There are a limited number of users that can be logged in at the same time. Peak times are early morning and late afternoon. If you are having trouble logging in, wait 15-30 minutes and try again.
Q: I am receiving a server error and Celerity is not responding. What do I do?
A: Notify Andi. Celerity is directly linked to Progressive Mechanical’s server. If the server is down, you will not be able to access Celerity.
Q: Celerity is slow to respond and I see a spinning icon. What can I do?
A: The speed of Celerity is correlated directly to your internet or data speed. Celerity is communicating real time with Progressive Mechanical’s server with each entry on the grid. If you are at a job site with poor internet or data speed, you may experience delays.
Q: Can I access Celerity on mobile devices?
A: Yes, Celerity can be accessed on any mobile website, including smart phone and other devices. The keyboard is disabled on the mobile version, so you will have to select names, jobs, hours, etc from the drop-down boxes.
