Artefact- War Poster Research The main inspiration for the movies can from the Nazis/Cold War.
We decided to look at the different propaganda styles in posters;
• British WW2- if it wasn’t worth printing, it may as well waste bullets.
• Americans WW1- product sales
• German/Austrian- medieval/romantic mythology

• Trying to keep the comic style alive- looking at the work of Howard Chaykin and Gil Kane.
• Looking down to create the look of superiority-challenging to rise to her level.
Loose Lips Sink Ships/ Products
• Looked at American product advertising posters.
• Incorporated an X-fighter helmet being taken over by the Empire to create sympathy towards the Rebellion.
Recruitment
• Tried to make Vader look intimidating and powerful
• This causes the viewers to look up to him and therefore want to join the Empire.
