John 20:30-31 Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the

disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written so that

you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by

believing you may have life in his name.

Biblical Belief:

1. Knowledge: We must KNOW certain truths

2. Believe: We must BELIEVE certain truths are true

3. Trust: We must TRUST IN certain truths to Save us

4. Experience: We must have a RELATIONSHIP

5. Growth: We must GROW in our Belief

Truth about Hard Hearts

1. God is Sovereign

2. We are all born with Hard, Dead Hearts

3. Our Sinful Nature & Satan keep our Hearts Hard

4. God must Intervene in our Sinful Condition

5. God may choose to Harden an already Hard Heart

6. God Never Hardens a Heart that is not already Hard

NEVERTHELESSIn spite of their Rejection

In spite of their Unbelief

In spite of their Hard Hearts

In spite of loving Man’s Glory

WHOEVER

those who reject Jesus again & again

those who hate Jesus & are His enemies

those who are dead in trespasses & sin

those who are spiritually blind

those who have hard hearts & are hopelessly lost

We must KNOW, We must BELIEVE, We must TRUST

Warning:Hebrews 3:7-11 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, “Today, if you hear his

voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, on the day of testing in

the wilderness, where your fathers put me to the test and saw my works for

forty years. Therefore I was provoked with that generation, and said, ‘They

always go astray in their heart; they have not known my ways.’ As I swore

in my wrath, ‘They shall not enter my rest.’”
