The absenteeism is affecting the utilization of human resources. It is an industrial problem affecting productivity profits, investments and the absence of worker. A rate of increase in absence adds considerable social losses and cost to the industry occurring from absenteeism cannot be determined accurately. INTRODUCTION:

Need for the study:

The study is on employee absenteeism of Krishna stone tech.

The study can be helpful for the management to improve its core weaknesses by the suggestion and recommendations to the similar situation.

Objectives of the study:

To study the impact of absenteeism on the organization.To study the rate of absenteeism of work.To study the retaining programs adopted by the organization.To study the factors that affecting absenteeismThe study was conducted at Krishna Stone tech.The study on the analysis has been taken up to identify the consequences, causes and the measures which can be taken to reduce the absenteeism in the organization.It can be used as a reference to reduce the absenteeism.In any research to study the main constraints are time and money.Nearly 50 samples are taken in Krishna stone tech.

Scope of the study:

Limitations of the study:The first and foremost limitation of the study is time limitation.The study is restricted to only employees of Krishna Stone Tech.Many workers do not feel free to share their opinion, experience and to give suggestionsThe study is focused only on Employee Absenteeism only and other aspects are not under purviewMany workers fill the questionnaire by taking the help of other worker, this leads to false information.

KRISHNA STONE-TECH PVT LTD.company was established by Dr. D.L. Ramesh Gopal in the year 1988. it has been grown today into an leading company in natural stone industry. Our group is very popular in international & domestic market.

DATA AND ANALYSIS

Experience level in organizationAnalysis:

From the above table, we analysis,34% of respondents experience level lies in the age of 3-5years, 30% of them in 1-3years, 6% of them in below 6 months, 20% of them below 5years Your views regarding the present Absenteeism Policy of KST Pvt. Ltd.

Analysis:From the above table ,we analyse 30% of respondents are highly satisfied with facilities provided, 40% are satisfied ,10% are neutral ,20% are dissatisfied with the welfare facilities provided by company How often you remain absent in a month

Analysis: From the above table, we analyses 30% of respondents are absent for health problems and the work stress , 20% are remains absent for work dissatisfaction and working condition.How are yourrelations with yoursuperiors / co-workers?Analysis:From the above table ,we analyses 50% of respondents are good with superiors and co-workers,14% of them are excellent in relation,30% are fair enough with superiors, 6% are poor in relations with superiors / co-workers.

Opinion regarding allowances given by the company?

Analysis:From the above table ,we analyses 24% of respondents are highly satisfied by gives opinion on allowances given by company, 60% are satisfied ,10% are dissatisfied by gives opinion on allowances given by company.With the reference to the behavior of the supervisor, majority of the respondent had good relation with supervisor.

From the interaction with the employees it is revealed that the employees should not be pressurized with the work load.With reference to the work given to employees, many of the respondents are clear with their jobs.

From the interaction with the employees it is revealed that the employees should be provided with the proper transportation.

From the interview with the employees, it is found that they are satisfied with medical facilities provided.

FINDINGS

With reference to the health problem of the employees the company should provide them with adequate medical facilities which may reduce absenteeism rate.With reference to the transportation the employees, should be provided good transportation facilities i.e., bus facility.Assigning the work to the respondents must be given up to the knowledge.Schedule must be made of work and family responsibilities.There should be good ventilation facilities in the company which in turn will lead to safety and healthy working environment. SUGGESTIONSThis project work has helped in understanding the problems of the employees and reasons why the employees tend to be absent during the work and also leaves in the organization.

Retaining the pool of experienced and skilled employees at minimum cost.

Increase organizational and individual effectiveness in short term landlord term .

The organization should provide good salary with adequate benefits as compared to the competitors in order to retain its employees.Conclusions
