The Atlantic forest is a tropical and subtropical moist forest, tropical dry forest, tropical savanna, premontane forest and mangrove forests which extends along the Atlantic coast of Brazil, of Rio Grande del Norte... The Atlantic forest is characterized by a high diversity of species and endemism. It was the first environment that the Portuguese conquerors found more than 500 years ago, when it is believed that they have a surface area of 1 to 1.5 million km2 and extends a distance unknown inland. The Atlantic forest remains extremely abundant species of biodiversity and endemic, many of which are threatened with extinction.

It occurs in Northern, Western and galicia cornice, two types of soil, the siliceo in the West and the calcareo to exist in Central and Eastern. The climate is mild because temperatures are moderated by the proximity of the sea, and there is a large rainfall and humidity.

Human impact Some of the human impacts that are making
their mark in the Atlantic forests are: slash indiscriminate forest fires, erosion of the soil, improper use of agrochemicals, indiscriminate hunting monoculture. All this and many more causes that are doing Atlantic forests are at risk.
That would happen if all the Atlantic forests were burned?
Many animals would die therefore, great part of the population would remain without the food proceeding from these animals as with the plants, if they were burned those of the Atlantic forest, the life would be much more difficult.
