POSITION SUMMARY GENERAL MANAGER PRA collaborates with business clients anywhere in the world to make their event experiences extraordinary for all par�cipants – every �me. We offer a wide array of business event management capabili�es, including: Event Planning & Produc�on; Themed Events & Decor; Des�na�on Incen�ve Programs; Offsite Events and Dining; Team Building and CSR Programs; Ac�vi�es, Tours & Excursions; Transporta�on Logis�cs. • The General Manager is responsible for the strategic direc�on and management of the office in the areas of: sales goal atainment, client rela�onship development, opera�onal execu�on, employee rela�ons, strategic mee�ngs, problem resolu�on, as well as ownership and accountability of the office P&L & Key performance Indicators. Addi�onally, this posi�on assists with sales business and marke�ng plans, product development and supplier rela�onships. The General Manager also ensures increasing levels of client and employee sa�sfac�on while improving the efficiency of employees, programs, and offerings.

• Responsible for managing the values and behaviors of the people they lead to provide excep�onal client experiences, drive our business and achieve business goals.

• Drive revenue growth and profitability (EBITDA) through the office team by obtaining new customers and retaining exis�ng customer rela�onships to increase PRA’s market share in that des�na�on.

• Manage employee selec�on, performance management & development, employee engagement, reten�on, and mo�va�on.

• Oversee regional business ac�vity and be accountable for overall office performance, including financial profit and loss and KPI’s

• Establish a cohesive team and ensure a collabora�ve and efficient process between sales and opera�ons to meet office goals.

• Strategically u�lize available repor�ng and tools to assess & manage ongoing business performance and target areas for growth and improvement.

• Ensure company standards are reflected in sales proposals, cos�ng of proposals, event produc�on and day-to-day office opera�ons.

• Create strategic focus on new product offerings, new market opportuni�es and hotel rela�onships • Oversee and support regional and hotel marke�ng efforts. • Work with SVP, Field Sales and Regional Sales Team to develop annual sales goals and ac�on plans. • Ini�ate and lead strategic team mee�ngs to review large opportuni�es to increase win rate. • Establish strong rela�onships and lead educa�on of market to Global Sales team. • Be a brand representa�ve at regional industry and client events to develop and grow rela�onships with the local

events community. • Manage facili�es, including working with outside vendors for repairs, updates, etc. • Work with the accoun�ng teams to facilitate seamless accoun�ng processes, forecasts and budgets. • Conduct quarterly analysis of compe��on through website review and local counter-intelligence. • Make follow up client calls on Lost- and Post-Program Evalua�ons. • Manage client challenges and concerns as needed. • Par�cipate in the development of PRA's programs for short and long-range plans. • Evaluate the office structure and team plan for con�nual improvement of the efficiency and effec�veness of the

office, as well as provide individual employees with professional and personal growth objec�ves and opportuni�es.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in management, including hiring, training, mo�va�ng, termina�ng and regular

job appraisals, preferably in a DMC, incen�ve travel, event management or related field. • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marke�ng, Hospitality, or related area is required. • Knowledge of and industry rela�onships in the local des�na�on. • Knowledge of program design and development, from incep�on through contract. • Excellent analy�cal skills for program cos�ng, budget development and strategic planning. • Proven ability to provide leadership by managing, direc�ng and mo�va�ng office staff towards their sales goal and

gross profit percentage. • Proven ability to provide leadership for challenge resolu�on to facilitate �mely improvements and improved

working rela�onships. • Proven ability to successfully communicate with staff, supplier/partners, clients, and the community. • Ability to professionally represent in the community and at industry-related mee�ngs. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and within deadlines for programs, proposals, mee�ngs, and

employee needs. • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret client proposal requirements, RFPs, contracts, financial reports, and other

legal documents. • Ability to effec�vely present informa�on and respond to ques�ons from clients, supplier/partners, and hoteliers. • Ability to provide leadership through a high level of mo�va�on, training and support to office staff by listening to

their needs and assis�ng them with solu�ons to their challenges/opportuni�es. • Possess the professional acumen to lead the team by example.
