1.0 MAIN PAGE

Every user that is given a User ID and Password can access the DPIMS System through the

URL http://dpims.moh.gov.my/ At the main page of the DPIMS site there are four main menus, which are:

Login to DPIMS

Download Forms

Search for Practitioners

Info Panel

1.0.1 LOGIN TO DPIMS

This menu is used to login to the DPMIS System for administration purposes,

applications and updating of all Dental Practitioner’s records.

1.0.2 DOWNLOAD FORMS

This menu is used to download the forms listed below without logging in to the DPIMS

System.

Application for Registration

Application for APC

Application for TPC

Specialist Registration

(Note: All these documents can only be downloaded in .pdf format)

1.0.3 SEARCH FOR PRACTITIONERS

This menu is used to make a search on Practitioners who have registered and are

listed in the DPIMS System.

A search can be made by Name, Category, State and/or District.

When you click on the Back button, the DPIMS main screen will be displayed.

The button, when clicked, will display brief information regarding

the Practitioner in question.

1.0.4 INFO PANEL

The Info panel was prepared to give the DPIMS System users information regarding

the Malaysian Dental Council.

Click on the hyperlink and it will link to the

Other information that is displayed on the Info Panel is as follows:

The Contact Us screen will be displayed if the button is clicked.

Every time information is entered click the SUBMIT button or the BACK button to

return to the DPIMS System main screen.

1.1 PRACTITIONER

1.1.1. Aim

This module enables the Practitioner to apply for his APC online.

1.1.2. Responsibility

Practitioners are responsible to ensure that this online application process is successfully

implemented.

1.1.3. System Startup

To enter the system a user must have Internet Explorer 5.0 software or above. Type the URL htpp://dpims.moh.gov.my. The DPIMS system main screen will be

displayed.

1.1.4. Login To DPIMS

1.1.5. 1 Login

Ensure that you type in the correct User ID and Password as a Practitioner. Click

the LOGIN button.

The system will display LOGIN SUCCESFUL followed by the following steps:

The Practitioner’s main screen will be displayed.

Please click on the Logout hyperlink to exit the system.

1.1.5.2 Forgot Password

If a Practitioner forgets his password, click on the Forgot Password? hyperlink. The

screen below will be displayed.

Enter all information in the relevant fields. Click the SUBMIT button. The message

box below will be displayed.

To RESET, enter all information in the relevant fields, click the RESET button.

Click the CLOSE button to exit from this screen.

1.2 PRACTITIONER MENU

The menus under Practitioner are :

1.2.1 Personal Data Menu

Click the Personal Data button and the Practitioner’s information will be displayed.

Click the Edit button to update the Practitioner’s information.

Click the Submit button to send the information.

The system will display RECORD UPDATED. Click the OK button to return to the previous

screen.

Click the Cancel button to abort.

Click the Back button to return to the previous screen.

1.2.2 New APC Menu

Click the New APC Menu. The New APC and Principal Practising Address screen will be

displayed.

There are the New APC and Principal Practising Address submenus.

a) New APC

Only the year of application will be displayed in the New APC submenu.

Applications for New APC are for the current year and the next two years.

b) Principal Practising Address

The user need only enter required information, i.e. organisation, state, Institution,

Payment(RM), Name Of Clinic, Address, Postcode, State, District and Tel. No.

Steps

● Enter the complete information and click the Save button to save the information.

● Click the Cancel button to abort the application.

● Click the Back button to return to the previous screen.

Principal Practising Address

Steps

● Click the Edit button if you want to update the Principal Practising Address

● Click the Submit button to save the application.

Add a Practising Address

● Click the Add Practising Address button to add a Practising Address.

● Enter the required information and click the Save button.

● Click the Cancel button to abort the application.

● Click the Back button to return to the previous screen.

Update Practising Address

Click the Edit button to update a Practitioner’s information.

Click the Save button save the information.

The system will display ‘RECORD UPDATED. THANK YOU’. Click the OK button to return to the

previous screen.

Click the Cancel button to abort the process.

Click the Back button to return to the previous screen.

1.2.3 Current APC Menu

Click Current APC Menu. The Current APC and Principal Practising Address, Other Practising

Address and Submitted Application screen will be displayed.

a) Current APC

Current APC Screen

This screen will display information on the Current APC submenu, i.e. Year, category,

status, Receipt No (if relevant), Receipt Date (if relevant), APC No., Date Applied

and Amount (if relevant).

b) Principal Practising Address

This screen will display information on the Principal Practising Address submenu, i.e.

Name of clinic, Address, State, District, Postcode, Tel. No, Category, Organisation,

State and Institution.

c) Other Practising Addresses

Other Practising Addresses Screen

In the Other Practising Address screen there are No., Name Of Clinic, View & Set As

Principal, Update and Delete submenus.

d) Submitted Application

Submitted Application Screen

In the Submitted Application screen there are No., Name Of Clinic, Reason for

application, View, Print, Payment (RM) and Date Applied submenus.

Click the Add Practising Address button to add a Practising Address.

Click the Add Practising Address button. The Add Other Practising Address

screen will be displayed.

Enter the relevant information as in the screen below and click the Submit

button.

This message box will be displayed.

Click the OK button to return to the previous screen.

Click the Cancel button to abort.

Click the Back button to return to the previous screen.

1.2.4 Request for Document Menu

Click the Request for Document menu. The Request for Document screen will be displayed.

There are five submenus in Request For Document, i.e.:

a. Letter of Good Standing

b. Copy of Certificate of Registration

c. Copy of APC

d. English Translation of Certificate of Registration

e. English Translation of APC

a. Letter Of Good Standing

Steps

Select Letter of Good Standing and click the Next button.

Enter the relevant information as below and click the Submit button.

Click the Submit button and a message box as below will be displayed. Click

the OK button to return to the previous page.

Click the OK button and the screen will return to the previous page.

b. Copy of Certificate of Registration

Steps

Select Copy of Certificate of Registration and click the Next button.

Enter the relevant information as below and click the Submit button.

The message box below will be displayed. Click the OK button to return to the

previous screen.

c. Copy of APC

Steps

Select Copy of APC and click the Next button.

Enter the relevant information as above and click the Submit button.

This message box will be displayed. Click the OK button the return to the

previous screen.

d. English Translation of Certificate of Registration

Steps

Select English Translation of Certificate of Registration and click the Next button.

Enter the relevant information as below and click the Submit button.

This message box will be displayed. Click the OK button to return to the previous

screen.

e. English Translation of APC

Steps

Select English Translation of APC and click the Next button.

Enter the relevant information as below and click the Submit button.

This message box will be displayed. Click the OK button to return to the previous

screen.

1.2.5 Status of Applications Menu

Click the Status of Applications menu. The Status of Applications screen will be

displayed.

Status of Applications Screen

The current year and the next two years will be displayed.

There are submenus in Status of Applications, i.e. Application Type, Name Of

Clinic/Document, Date Applied , Application status and Date Action.

Select the required year and click the Search button. The display will be by

year as above.

1.2.6 APC History Menu

Click the APC History Menu and the APC History screen will be displayed.

This screen has 2 submenus, i.e. APC History and Practising Address

APC History Screen

This screen displays the APC No., Year and View.

Click the View button to check the Practising Address

Practising Address Screen

This screen will display complete information regarding the Practising Address, for

example Address, APC Year, Date applied, Date Updated and Date Deleted.

1.2.7 Change Password Menu

Click the Change Password Menu and a screen as below will be displayed.

Steps

Enter the relevant information as below until complete and click the Submit button.

A message box as below will be displayed.

To abort the change Password process click the Clear button.

If incomplete or incorrect information is entered, a message box as below will be

displayed.

Click the OK button to return to the previous screen.

1.2.8 Contact Us Menu

Click the Contact Us Menu and the Contact Us screen as below will be displayed.

Contact Us Screen

The Contact Us screen has the following submenus Address, Tel No, Fax No., Email

Address, Subject and Message.

Enter complete information as below and click the Submit button.

Click the Submit button and this message box will be displayed.

Click the OK button to return to the previous screen.

If the information is incomplete the following message box will be displayed.
