PRAN No. and HRMS No. must belong to same person. )

Step 1: After login, DDO needs to open left menu and click Wrong NPS

Step 2: It wil bring screen as shown below:

Please note that Wrong PRAN Nos. are divided into three categories

    o Duplicate PRAN Nos

o PRAN Nos Not found at NSDL Database

o Duplicate PRAN Nos.: When DDO selects this option, it will show screen as

    screen as shown below:

    Case 1

o Duplicate PRAN Nos. will appear as given below, please note that

here HRMS No. and PRAN No. exists in two different DDO A/Cs.

    How to Solve this Problem?

Send an email at [email protected], with the subject

“Duplicate Entry”. Compose your email by stating that Duplicate

Employee Name exist with same PRAN No.,

for ex. This Employee currently lies with DDO A/C No.“SAS000025”,

kindly remove other employee in DDO A/C No. “ROP000510”.

    mailto:[email protected]

  • Case 2

Duplicate PRAN Nos. will appear as given below, please note that one

PRAN No. is mapped with two different employees:

    How to Solve this Problem?

In this case, the DDO know PRAN No. belongs to which employee.

for ex. Suppose DDO from Patiala (PTL000606) knows that this PRAN No.

belongs to Jashandeep Singh. So Patiala DDO would make a call to

Chandigarh DDO(CHD000626) and tell him/her that please fill correct

PRAN No. for RAM SINGH. Once correct PRAN No. for RAM SINGH filled by

Chandigarh DDO, duplicacy will be removed.

PRAN Nos Deactivated by NSDL: When DDO selects PRAN Nos.

Deactivated By NSDL following screen will appear:

Please note that most common reason for deactivation of PRAN No. is

DDO has not submitted required documents to NSDL through DTO.

  • How to Solve this Problem?

    1. DDO is going to submit required documents to DTOs at the earliest.

    2. Once documents submitted to DTO, DTO will get PRAN No. activated

    from NSDL.

    3. After activation of PRAN No., DTO will send a mail to NIC IFMS

HelpDesk at [email protected] for activation at new IFMS. Once

mail received NIC IFMS Helpdesk will activate the PRAn No.

PRAN Nos Not found at NSDL Database: If DDO selects this option,

    following screen will appear.

    How to Solve this Problem?

    1. Please reach DTO with required douments regarding existence of

    PRAN No.

    2. DTO will verify why PRAN No. not found at NSDL Database.

    3. If NSDL add the PRAN No. at their end and provides acknowledgement

    to DTO.

    4. DTO will send a mail to NIC IFMS HelpDesk at

    [email protected] .

    5. NIC Helpdesk will activate the PRAN in new IFMS.

    2. How to add/update NPS Details?

(Note: PRAN No. and mobile No. must be unique. Also PRAN no. and HRMS no. must

    belong to same person. )

    mailto:[email protected]:[email protected]

  • If message given below appears, then it means PRAN No. does not exists at NSDL Database.

If below message appears, then PRAN No. already entered by DDO in his/her A/C. In that case DDO

needs to user Employee Transfer Module for having that employee.
