Touch the fabric:Prato fabric manufacturers show the fashion trends of this district.

Creativity, reaction speed and technical skill are more and more important in order to keep pace with a world which is ruled byuncertainty and instability like the world of fashion.Italy, and Prato in particular for the women oriented item, have always been important partners for those who compete with thiscompetitive arena.is is why Pratotrade has gathered and taken pictures of the fabrics for the F/W 2014-15 season the companies from Prato will launchat Prémière Vision: the target is to offer the maximum of the stylistic creativity to the fashion world. A visual path has been developed upon 4 themes: it consists of suggestions and incentives for the designers and culminates in a series ofitems which illustrate and explain all the best you can find at Prato for the coming season.All the items showed at Prémière Vision have been designed and manufactured at Prato by companies belonging to the Fashion Valley(www.fashion-valley.it), demonstrating that within few miles it is possible to come full circle of a fashion product thus reducing times andcosts of collections.

Materials

Wool, silk, alpaca and mohair for outwear.

Wool, nylon and viscose mixed together, with lycra as well, for weights for trouser or jackets with “scuba” effect.

Typologies and macro-themes

Bulging aspects, openwork and honeycomb with three dimensional structures made of mixed wool or synthetic materialsas well to be overlapped to yarn-dyed ones.

Jacquard and padded forms, matelassé with modest weights in order to create unusual volumes, finishing effects in relief.

Double weight fabrics for coats with compact structures and sartorial effects.

Mixed semi technical fabrics with very compact, thick and voluminous structures.

Flat and neat, diagonal, clear and evident forms.

Tactile and visual contrasts. Playing with the opposites.

Macro patterns, jacquard with no link, fragmented and interrupted designs thanks to jacquard effects which also vary a lot.

Madras and oversize patterns to be placed on the item in an irregular way.

Pile fabrics, fur imitations which are overprinted in digital format as well.

Metal effects, opalescent coating with oxidized and luxurious effects, metallic , plastic coated and translucent surfaces.

Chintz effects on natural materials too in order to coat and to embellish surfaces.

Super coloured yarn-dyed with very thick yarns and geometrical patterns.
