37. Special achievements:

NCC Cadets Miss Prajakta Dighe and Akash Sawant represented the Maharashtra

Battalion at the Republic Day parade, New Delhi

Mr Bhausaheb E Kolapkar, student of BSc (Zoology) was selected for a ten months

research programme at Portugal University, under the Erasmus Mundus programme.

Miss Kadlag Sonali N- TYBA stood first in the University in the subject of Electronics

securing 86.13%

Five NCC cadets were selected in the Indian Army.

Computerization of all the administrative sections

Digitize some classrooms on an experimental basis

Digitize the Seminar hall (PG Building)

Provide Wi-Fi facility in college campus

To start competitive exam guidance centre.

39. Other activities

Maintenance of Discipline:

The information brochure given during admission process contains necessary directions

regarding maintenance of discipline

A Discipline committee is constituted to monitor and maintain the discipline in the campus

The members of the committee take rounds in the college and supervise the students

periodically

Anti-ragging committee is constituted

The Principal, Vice-Principal and Physical Director too take rounds in the college

periodically to monitor and maintain the discipline and order.

Students have to give a „Declaration‟ promising their non-participation in ragging

practices.

Activities for Qualitative Development of Teachers

Teachers are encouraged to participate in the courses like: Orientation, Refresher, Short

term, Seminar, Conference, and Workshops etc.

Economic aid is provided to teachers for publication of quality research papers in reputed

research journals
