2 Pray for open dialogue between Wonder Club parents and teachers, so we can gain better understanding of our students.

3 Pray that our new volunteer coordinator would not be overwhelmed during this busiest time of the year.

4 Praise God for all those who shared their story at the annual dinner. Pray that their stories would continue to resonate in our donors’ hearts.

5 Pray that God would provide the 2,000 turkeys we need for the holidays.

6 Praise the Lord for incredible partnerships that only He can fashion within our community.

7 Pray for Teen Haven teens who have begun their college journey. Pray that they will do well and keep strong in their faith.

8 Praise God for words of hope he brought into a client’s life recently.

9 Pray for direction for our Search Committee as they look for someone to provide Leadership to Water Street as president.

10 Praise God for a large donation of nice men’s clothing for the fall season.

11 Praise God for partnerships we have with local colleges whose students help care for our patients at Water Street Health Services.

12 Pray that God would provide “abundantly beyond all that we can ask or imagine” in our Rescue Mission Food Drive.

13 Praise God for a patient who valued the dental services his family received and painted the clinic!

14 Pray that Teen Haven campers would remember what they learned this summer.

15 Praise God that one of our clients passed his certification test to become a nurse.

16 Pray for volunteers who would be available to work with the children during our chapel services.

17 Pray for those who are alone during Thanksgiving.

18 Praise God for the volunteers who are helping to distribute Thanksgiving Food Boxes to the hungry in our community.

19 Pray for those receiving Thanksgiving Food Boxes, that they would see Jesus in the volunteers and staff who are distributing them.

20 Praise God for the opportunity to bless Wonder Club families with food boxes this Thanksgiving.

21 Pray for a Mission client who needs to be patient as God works in his heart.

22 Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever (1 Chron 16:34).

23 Pray that our summer campers would stay plugged into Teen Haven programs throughout the school year to grow in their faith.

24 Pray for our volunteers that have experienced the loss of loved ones.

25 Pray for Water Street Health Services as we seek a dental assistant who has a heart for the patients and wants to minister alongside our team.

26 Praise God for providing a new roof at no cost for one of our buildings.

27 Pray the Lord would provide strength and comfort to those within our volunteer family who may be dealing with ongoing physical issues, and especially those battling cancer.

28 Praise God for many friends who are sending in financial donations to help change one life at a time.

29 Pray for a single father raising two boys who received furniture from Water Street. Pray that he would find a job so he can provide for his children.

“Sarah” has been a patient of Water Street Health Services for the past four years. She is a widow who suffers from diabetes and hypertension, and she recently had a stroke. Weakened from her stroke, she had a car accident. Now she is no longer able to drive, and the loss of her driver’s license has left her very discouraged.

During a recent appointment with us, she shared her discouragement. We offered her one of the beautiful lap

quilts that are made and donated by volunteers from First United Methodist Church. She was very appreciative of the gift. We know that having the quilt is a reminder to her that she is cared for.

Prayers are needed to strengthen her perseverance as she lives with mul-tiple challenges. We offer praise for the love of God shown through our volun-teers that provided the quilts, as well as those who serve her each time she comes to Water Street Health Services.
