What happened in the story?

My favorite part of the book was...

Use the top section for your child to practice writing his/her name and add to the

front of a lapbook or file folder if storing your child’s work. Depending on the

book that you use for your adventure, have your child summarize the book and

record what they tell you. Add the mini ‘book report’ to the front of your folder.

Matching

Before playing, read the book and find all of the

angels in the book together. Then use these cards to

play a matching game with your child.




Print, laminate and cut out or slide into a sheet protector . Have your child either clip a clothespin to the correct beginning letter sound or use a dry erase marker to circle the correct letter.

Rhyming Word Match Match the rhyming words by drawing a line between the two picture words that sound alike.

Slide into a sheet protector and use a dry erase marker if you would like to re-use it.

Cut out the dice template below, fold on the dotted lines and tape/glue together to make dice. Have your child roll

the dice and then fill in a square of picture that was rolled until one of the colors reaches 10!
