In worship today we celebrate Holy Communion. This is God’s gift to us assuring us of his love and forgiveness. In this meal, Jesus is truly present. All who believe are welcome. It is the tradition at CtK for children to begin receiving communion at 4th grade. If you are visiting from another congregation and your child/ren receive communion at a younger age, they are welcome to receive here.
——————————————————————— Confirmation Bibles
This year we have restructered and changed curriculum for confirmation for our 7th, 8th, and 9th graders. We have purchased Colaborate Bibles to go along with the new curriculum. These Bibles are to be used in the classrooms by the students every year, but will not be gifted to the stu-dents. The Colaborate Bibles match our new Colaborate curriculum! We purchased 50 Bibles for our students. If you would be interested in donating to help defray these costs, please talk with Deacon Jess. Email Mystery We have been receiving word that Deacon Jess’
emails have been going into people’s spam/junk
folders. We are not exactly sure why this is
happening. But while we try to get to the bottom of
it, if you would check your spam folder to see if
you’ve missed a communication, that would be great.
Thanks for your patience as we figure this odd
situation out!

***Bible Gifting***
Each year we gift our 3-year-olds and 3rd graders with their very own Bibles (Spark Story Bibles and Spark NRSV Bibles). We have Bible tags hanging by the FaithWalk office with the names of the 3-year-olds and 3rd graders who will be receiving Bibles this year. If you would like to help fulfill our baptismal promises for each of these children, please take a tag off the board, and return it to the office with a $25 donation. Please join us in this wonderful ministry of placing Scriptures into our children's hands. Thank you!
