Our Method

Services

These are the times when the entire New Life Family joins to-

gether to worship Jesus Christ and be taught from the Bible.

We believe people should feel free to worship as the Bible

teaches (without distracting the worship of others), so you may

see some raising hands, or praying and praising out loud and

“unscripted” while they worship.

We believe that God gives people gifts. Spiritual gifts are being

used in & through the New Life Family on a regular basis, both

in our services and at other times. Some gifts are occasionally

spoken out loud during the public services, but this is a small

minority of the totality of spiritual gifts. The Bible also tells us

that the gifts are to be tested, and used under authority accord-

ing to God’s order.

If you feel you have a gift that God is giving you in the form of a

spoken word to the church family, please ask an usher to lead

you to a pastor or deacon and let them know so that all can hear

and be blessed in proper order. More about Who We Are and

our view of spiritual gifts can be found on our website – click on

the menu item “Who We Are” – then click on “What We Believe”

from the sub-menu and scroll down to links to download mes-

sages about spiritual gifts and prophecy, or call the church office

for the messages or a conversation with one of our pastors.

If you have questions about the Sunday morning message, our

Lead Pastor leads a time of discussion on Wednesdays at 7:10

p.m. in our main lobby where open discussion is held with ques-

tions and answers on the message. Check our schedule for all

of our service opportunities, including services for children and

youth.

Small Groups

Doing life together … building relationships … serving others …

it all happens in New Life Small Groups. We encourage each

one to be faithful to attend a service at least once each week for

worship and teaching and be involved in at least one small

group. We believe that’s a guarantee for growth as a follower of

Jesus Christ!

Alpha

Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a

relaxed, friendly setting. Alpha is for anyone who thinks there

may be more to life than meets the eye. Is there a God? Why

am I here? Where did I come from? Where am I going? These

questions and more are openly discussed. Please see our

website for more information on Alpha meeting times.

Upward

New Life is a partner with Upward Sports, a national sports

ministry. The mission of Upward is to introduce children to

Jesus Christ by creating opportunities to serve through sports.

Upward is a sports teaching league that gives children the

opportunity to learn and develop their skills, develop character,

and grow in relationship with their coaches and with God. This

is a tremendous opportunity for ministry and connection with the

community.

Both locally and overseas, through a variety of methods, for-

mats, and partnering with various organizations the New Life

Family gives and works to share the Good News about Jesus

Christ with everyone everywhere!

Pancake Breakfast October 13!

Sunday, October 13, the CHAMPs Team will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast. Breakfast will include 3 pancakes & 2 sausage patties for $3.00. Breakfast will be served from 8:45 am – 9:30 am and 10:30 am

– 11:00 am. Reserve your breakfast today at the CHAMPs table in the lobby. All proceeds will go

toward expenses for an upcoming Ministry Training Conference. Thank you for supporting the
