If one member suffers, all suffer together—1 Cor 12:26 (ESV). This month

we stand together with the persecuted church around the world in prayer.

Remember believers who are facing violence, hatred and deprivation,

and also denied of their rights and personal freedoms. Uphold families

with loved ones who have been martyred or killed, imprisoned or

abducted. Pray for strength and endurance to remain faithful to the end.

Pray that we too will find practical ways to be an encouragement to them.

PRAYING FOR THE PERSECUTED CHURCH

We are thankful that the Marawi siege is over. Pray for its rebuilding and restoration.

Pray for protection over the ASEAN region from terrorism and religious extremism. Pray also for a quick and just resolution to the Rohingya situation in Myanmar to ensure regional stability.

Let us continue to pray for protection over the Sabah waters, and for the northern border of the peninsular facing Southern Thailand.

Pray for politicians of integrity and good character, with a calling to serve the people, to be nominated as candidates for the upcoming GE14 national and state elections. Pray for the upcoming third meeting of the 2017 Parliamentary session which began on 23 October and will be for 25 days. Pray for parliamentary members to do their work of policy making diligently, especially in the light of RUU355 being pushed back into the agenda.
